The Rocky Mountain Dental Convention (RMDC) is the largest continuing education event for dental professionals in the region. In 2011, the RMDC had more than 7,100 attendees with over 2,500 dentists and hygienists.

Elder Construction begins renovation for Dr. Dan Boedeker’s Oral Surgery Practice in Fort Morgan, Colorado

Loveland, Colorado – Elder Construction recently began the remodel of approximately 1,700 square feet of an existing office building located at 527 West Platte Avenue in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The newly remodeled space will be home to Dr. Boedeker’s new Oral Surgery practice, which is intended to help fill the needs of the growing Northern Colorado population. The project is expected to be completed by the middle of August.

Elder Construction recently completes the tenant finish for Coolberry frozen yogurt

Loveland, Colorado – June 1, 2011

Elder Construction, Inc. recently completed construction for the newest Coolberry restaurant, located in the Thompson Valley Shopping Center in Loveland, Colorado. The 1,444 square-foot project is the latest location for the Coolberry frozen yogurt chain and third venture for John Meyer and James Contos, both long time restaurateurs in Northern Colorado.

Elder Construction, Inc. worked closely with both owners and local architect BJ DeForge with Hauser Architects, P.C. to complete the 1,444 square-foot renovation. Construction began in April and was completed May.

Elder Construction begins work on Colorado Retina Associate’s new Loveland Office

Loveland, Colorado - Elder Construction has started work on the tenant finish for Colorado Retina Associates’ new Loveland location. The project consists of the transformation of an existing 2,000 square-foot office to a new medical suite consisting of six new exam and treatment rooms, lobby area, office, and employee break room. The project is expected to be completed by late June.

Elder Construction taps industry veteran as Director of Field Operations for its Northern Colorado Office

Elder Construction is excited to announce the addition of Austin Dodder, a LEED Green Associate, as Director of Field Operations for their Northern Colorado office. Austin brings over 10 years of experience and will help lead the company’s expansion of Elder Construction’s commercial construction presence in Northern Colorado. Austin, formally with GE Johnson brings with him the experience of several notables projects including the Village @ North Star in Truckee, CA, Rams-Horn Lodge in Vail, CO and most recently a PK-12 School located in Alamosa, CO.

“Austin brings with him a wealth of experience on an array of projects ranging from $20 million to $125 million. Elder Construction begins construction for Dr. Shonka DDS, P.C.in Windsor, CO

Loveland, Colorado – Elder Construction recently began construction of approximately 2,200 square feet dental in Windsor, Colorado. The space will be home to the Dr. Shonka DDS, P.C. family dental practice, which is intended to help fill the needs of the community of Windsor. The project is expected to be completed by late June.

Elder Construction begins renovation for Dr. Greg Vosseteig in Fort Collins, Colorado

Loveland, Colorado – Elder Construction recently began the remodel of a 3,050 square-foot existing office building located at 3501South Shield Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. The newly remodeled space will be home to the 20/20 Vision Center and Dr. Greg Vosseteig’s expanded Optometry practice. The project is expected to be completed by the middle of June.

Construction begins on the New Pikes Peak Brewery in Monument, Colorado

Colorado Springs, Colorado – Elder Construction was recently chosen as the constructor for the renovation of an existing 2,200 square-foot building, which will be the future home of Pikes Peak Brewery (PPBC). PPBC’s Monument location is the lifetime dream of Chris Wright, longtime home brewer and author of The Beer Journal. Chris hopes to have PPBC up and running by late summer or early fall.

Elder Construction completes construction of iTopit in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, Colorado - February 10, 2011

Elder Construction recently completed the construction of iTopit’s (pronounced I-Top-It) first location in Colorado Springs. The self-serve frozen yogurt shop offers customers 24 healthy frozen yogurt combinations and over 70 toppings to choose from. Managing Partners, David and Brenda Begin, brought the self-serve frozen yogurt concept to Colorado Springs after visiting numerous yogurt shops around the country. They are currently the owner of several successful businesses in Colorado Springs, and are passionate about delivering remarkable customer service.

Elder Construction completes the tenant finish for The Joint…the chiropractic place.

Loveland, Colorado – December 10, 2010

Elder Construction, Inc recently completed construction for the newest Joint Chiropractic Clinic, located in Thompson Valley Shopping Center in Loveland, Colorado. The 1,062 square-foot project is the latest location for The Joint franchise and second venture for Dr. Scott Heiser, a long time practicing local chiropractor.

Colorado Springs, Colorado - Elder Construction recently completed construction of a 3,622 square-foot office/medical suite for Dr. Ron Thoman D.D.S. and his team of Oral and Maxillofacial Specialists in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Elder Construction worked closely with Dr. Thoman D.D.S. and Bucher Design Studios in completing the 3,622 square-foot tenant build-out. Oral and Maxillofacial Specialists, P.C. features Board certified surgeons, Dr. Thoman and Dr. Hebda, which cater to patients with oral and maxillofacial surgical care. Dr. Thoman was voted one of Colorado's Top Dentists – 2009 by 5280 Magazine. Construction began in May and was completed on schedule in August.

The El Paso County Contractors' Association was formed to unite the construction industry by developing friendships, sharing information, supporting local education, and participating in group discussion specific to the industry.

Elder Construction has been an active member of the association for the past fifteen years. In 2007, Tom Elder served as the Association’s President.
